Terre degli Osci IG is affected by both the northern areas of Abruzzo and the southern ones of upper Apulia. The disciplinary is less selective than the ones of Abruzzo, showing that this region has not yet found its own enological identity, which explains the constant decline of the GI.

The classic Montepulciano n. is valued in red wines, as well as Sangiovese n., Falanghina b., Pinot Grigio gr. and other grapes of national fame.
